The Chief Minister’s Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana (Chief Minister – My Dear Sister Scheme) is a flagship financial assistance program of the Maharashtra government for women. Under this scheme, eligible women receive ₹1,500 every month (₹18,000 annually) directly into their bank accounts. The scheme was launched in 2024, specifically for sisters aged 21 to 65 whose family’s annual income is less than ₹2.5 lakh.

Ladki Bahin Yojana eKYC New Update
eKYC Deadline! Initially, the deadline was in November, but due to natural disasters and other difficulties, the government has provided a significant extension. The new last date is December 31, 2025. Therefore, all beneficiary sisters are humbly requested to complete the e-KYC process within this deadline.

Eligibility for the yojana
- Must be a resident of Maharashtra state.
- Married, widowed, divorced, abandoned, and destitute women of the state, as well as only one unmarried woman per family, are eligible.
- For women aged 21 to 65 years.
- Must have a bank account linked to their Aadhaar card.
- The beneficiary’s family’s annual income should not exceed ₹2.50 lakh.
- Yellow/Saffron ration card holders do not require an income certificate.
- Government employees, pensioners, and former elected representatives are not eligible.

How to complete your e-KYC?
Open the website https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in/
Click on the e-KYC option on the homepage.
Enter your Aadhaar number and fill in the captcha, then tick the declaration.
Generate OTP. An OTP will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Enter the OTP.
Enter the OTP, verify the details, and submit.
You will receive a confirmation message on the screen and via SMS.

How to reset the password for the Ladki Bahin Portal?
- First, go to the website: https://ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in/
- Click on Applicant Login / Sign In.
- Then click on “Forgot Password?”.
- Enter your registered mobile number, fill in the captcha, and click on Send OTP.
- Enter the OTP and set a new password (at least 8 characters + special character).
- Submit and log in with your new password to complete the eKYC.
