RRB Group D Recruitment 2026
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) released this notification under CEN 09/2025 on January 30, 2026. Previously, some dates were changed, but now the recruitment process has begun on January 31, 2026, and will continue until March 2, 2026. The last date for applications is March 2, 2026, and the last date for fee submission is March 4. After that, there will be an opportunity to correct the form from March 5 to 14.

There are also 597 Assistant Track Machine, 600 Assistant Bridge, 300 Assistant P-Way, 1,000 Assistant C&W, 800 Assistant TRD, 1,509 Assistant S&T, 200 Assistant Loco Shed Electrical, 604 Assistant Operations Electrical, and 500 Assistant TL&AC.

The age limit is 18 to 33 years as of January 1, 2026. Reserved categories are eligible for relaxation, such as 3 years for OBCs and 5 years for SC/STs. There are also rules for PWDs and ex-servicemen, and providing incorrect age may result in rejection of the application.
Application Fee
Upon clearing the CBT, General/OBC candidates will receive a refund of ₹400 and others ₹250. Payments can be made online using debit cards, credit cards, net banking, IMPS, or wallets.

Those who have passed 10th grade or are from an NCVT/SCVT-approved school can apply. Those with a National Apprenticeship Certificate from NCVT or an ITI are eligible.

RRB Group D Registration Process
First, visit the official website of the RRB zone for your state or log in to rrbapply.gov.in. Find the link for “CEN 09/2025” or “Group D Level-1” on the homepage and click on “New Registration” or “Create Account.”
Follow the basic details: name, date of birth (as per 10th marksheet), mobile number, and email ID. Fill in the captcha and submit. You will receive an OTP on your mobile number and email address. Enter it to verify. A registration ID and password will be generated, which will be sent via email or SMS.
Step 1: Open the official website rrbapply.gov.in and select “New Registration.”
Step 2: Enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email address. One registration per mobile number/email address.
Step 3: Verify the OTP. Save your ID and password.
Step 4: Login and fill out the eligibility form (select your zone and enter your qualifications).
Step 5: Fill in your personal and educational details. Ensure there are no mistakes, as correction fees will apply.
After registration, log in and upload your photo and signature (passport-sized photo, black ink signature), Aadhaar, and scanned 10th grade marksheet. Pay the fee, submit, and take a printout. Complete by March 2nd. Always check official notifications.
